Does AI Content Rank Well? A Proof from My Experience

As the digital world continues to advance, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for content creation has become quite prevalent. One question that often arises is, does AI content rank well? In this article, I will answer that question and provide proof from my experience using two popular AI tools: Jasper AI and Surfer SEO.

My Experience with AI Content

I have several niche websites, and about a year and a half ago, I created another website, "The Meal Prep Ninja," which is my passion project. I started incorporating AI content using Jasper AI and Surfer SEO, and the results have been impressive.

Proof - AI Content Ranking

To demonstrate AI content's ranking ability, I used a keyword tool called KW Finder. From the list of keywords found, one with a search volume of 430 per month and a keyword difficulty of 22, the 40-30-30 meal plan, caught my attention. I went ahead to optimize an informative article about the meal plan with Surfer SEO and Jasper AI.

Upon googling "40-30-30 meal plan," the search results showed my article at the top spot, outranking even the giant Food Network website. Also, when I googled "what does 1700 calories look like," another AI-written article by me, it also ranked well.

Using Surfer SEO and Jasper AI

To optimize my articles, I used Surfer SEO and Jasper AI. Surfer SEO helped with optimization by providing word-count recommendations, content structure, paragraph formation, and image placement. Jasper AI generated the article contents, and using both tools, I ensured that my articles' on-page optimization were top-notch.

Another Example

I also created an article titled "The 10 Best Electric Lunch Boxes for 2022" using both tools. The article initially ranked second but has since dropped to the ninth position. However, the keyword tool used indicated it has a search volume of 700 and a keyword difficulty of 33.

Conclusion

Based on my experience, AI content ranks well when used optimally. While other factors beyond on-page optimization influence website rankings, using Surfer SEO for optimization and Jasper AI for content generation has proved to be effective. Though my experience is limited to two AI tools, this article's proof should encourage content creators to consider adding AI content to their websites for the best results.
